Design/Specification of Bullet Resistant Vehicle.

We use best quality engineering ballistic material in armoring evaluated and approved against the threat perception NIJ Level i.e. 9mm, 7.62X51mm (SLR) 7.62X39mm (AK-47). We are working on MHA/BPR D specification.

Material Description.

a) Bullet Resistant splinter proof Glass 40/42mm (Imported/Indian), as per customer requirement .

b) Bullet Resistant steel (Imported).

i) 6-6.5mm for Body except roof.

ii) 5-5.5mm for roof (Protection from 7.62X51mm from 45 degree angle).

c) Multileyar Kevlar+Polycorponate, Protection From HE-36 Hand Granade (Imported).

d) Explosive Proof Fuel Tank ( Anti Explosive Material filled in fuel tank Tank will covered with Bullet Resistant steel 6.5mm.

e) Heavy Duty Run flats System + Wheel Rims Imported.

Modification for Armoring.

Cabin of the vehicle shall be provided with armored protection from all sides in such way that bullet can't enter in the cabin when the fired from 10 meters from any direction the occupants inside the cabin are not hurt. It is very essential that the armored joints shall be overlapping type. The essential area of modification for armoring is highlighted as under:

1) Splinter Proof Glasses, Wind Shield, All Doors, All Qtr Glass and small Glass for rear Door.

2) Suitable heavy duty rubber U-Channels for BR windshield and all door glasses.

3) Closing/Sealing of edges of all BR glasses with suitable rubber sealing compound to avoid development of air bubbles inside the glasses at later stage.

4) Armor Steel frame overlapping the wind screen from all sides.

5) All the doors will be strengthening with heavy duty hinges.

6) Pillars also will be strengthening.

7) Armored door posts, side foot side of roof.

8) 6.5mm BR steel will be fixed inside the body from all sides.

9) 5.5mm BR will be fixed inside the roof.

10) Special Multilayer Kevlar + Polycarbonate on flooring.

11) Fuel tank will be protected from all side with 6.5mm BR steel.

12) Suspension will be reinforced according to the weight.
